Your donations are regenerating rainforests
Friday, August 4, 2023
Your support has been replanting and restoring an ancient rainforest in northern NSW.
This ReForest Now project is among the largest and most diverse rainforest planting ever commenced in Australia, with 300,000 trees being planted to restore 96 hectares of diverse, complex rainforest.
Our funding of $50,000 has now planted 10,000 sub-tropical trees, restoring six hectares of cleared ex-pastoral land. As this patch of critically endangered, lowland rainforest grows, it will become a vital corridor, helping to reconnect an ecosystem which once blanketed the region, and of which today, only 1% remains. Thank you for contributing to this astoundingly important project.
