Our Wildlife Ambulance fleet is growing!
Saturday, February 1, 2025
In December we welcomed another trained Emergency Responder with a fully equipped Wildlife Ambulance onto the road in the central west of NSW – a vast region that urgently needs transport assistance for wildlife emergency response. Three more regional Emergency Responders are currently being recruited, and another in southwest Sydney.
Every one of our Responders is trained in the recue and immediate care of all Australian species – and every Wildlife Ambulance is fully stocked with rescue equipment, first aid and medical supplies, including incubators and oxygen converters!
Thank you so much for helping us establish and sustain this lifesaving fleet. Just in the past year our Wildlife Ambulances have covered over 212,000 kms, reaching more than 5,000 native animals in critical situations!
