Python Eggs
Friday, January 1, 2021
Our Reptile Coordinator was notified that a crew member working on the East West Link at Albion Park had uncovered a batch of python eggs. The eggs were incubated for just over a month and 12 baby Diamonds Pythons hatched successfully. They are independent from birth and were soon released in a safe location. Our beautiful snakes are protected native wildlife and are a key part of our local ecosystem.
