A year on from Australia’s worst bushfire season in history, WIRES and Bush Heritage Australia continue to work collaboratively across the conservation sector to help secure the future of all native species.
In this webinar an update is provided by CEO of WIRES Leanne Taylor, Bush Heritage CEO Heather Campbell, Bush Heritage National Fire Program Manager Richard Geddes and WIRES Koala Coordinator Vickii Lett.
While a lot of work remains to be done, we are starting to see signs of recovery, with plants re-sprouting and native animals returning to the landscape. We are excited to share with you some of the successes you have helped make possible this year and the opportunities to further strengthen bushfire recovery and resilience efforts across Australia and beyond.
